According to local authorities, the official minimum wage in Turkmenistan in 2025 is 1,410 manat per month, equivalent to 410 dollars. The president signed a decree to raise not only the minimum wage, but also scholarships, pensions and social benefits by 10% from January 1.
Since January 1 last year, Turkmenistan raised the minimum wage by the same 10%. In 2024, local workers received 1,280 manat, and in 2023 1,160 manat per month. Note that since 2016, Turkmenistan has had two exchange rates of the national currency.

The second place is occupied by the National Space Agency under the President of Turkmenistan – 1,909.9 manat, and the third place is occupied by the State Concern “Turkmenneft” – 1,861.4 manat.
Employees of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations have the lowest salaries in Turkmenistan. It is noteworthy that the State Statistics Committee does not publish statistical data on salaries in the public domain on its official website.
