MINIMUM AND AVERAGE SALARY IN TAJIKISTAN

According to the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Employment, the average salary in Tajikistan in 2025 is 2,628.90 somoni per month, which corresponds to 240 dollars. Compared to last year, Tajik workers received 24.7% more. The highest incomes are offered by the capital Dushanbe, where they earn on average twice as much as in Khatlon and Sughd regions.
By sector, the highest monthly salaries in Tajikistan are in mining – 4,238.43 somoni ($390), information and communication – 4,934.49 somoni ($450), and financial intermediation and insurance – 6,894.13 ($630), while the lowest are in agriculture – 1,093.58 somoni ($100).
The number of officially registered unemployed in Tajikistan in 2025 is 48.3 thousand people, while 230.7 thousand jobs were created in the country last year.
