The Republic of Belarus is located in the eastern part of Europe. It borders Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Ukraine and Poland. It is landlocked. The population of Belarus in 2025 is about 9 million people. The capital of the state is Minsk. The official currency is the Belarusian ruble, which at the current exchange rate is equal to 0.3 euro/dollar.
Modern Belarus is among the five poorest countries in Europe. The development of the state largely depends on Russia, especially in the energy sector. Next, let's find out what is the minimum and average salary in Belarus in 2025.
